Varibits is a professional supplier of industrial hardware to businesses. Returns are handled case by case and require our prior agreement. This policy applies to all orders placed on varibits.com.
1. Returns by prior authorisation only
Do not return any product without first contacting us at info@varibits.com to obtain a return authorisation and instructions. Goods sent back without prior agreement may be refused or returned to you at your cost.
2. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods
If a product is defective, or we shipped the wrong item, contact us within 14 days of receipt with your order number and a description (photos help). We will agree the most practical remedy — repair, replacement or refund — and cover the reasonable, pre-agreed cost of returning the item. Please keep the original packaging where possible.
3. Other returns (no longer required, ordered in error)
We are not obliged to accept the return of correctly supplied, non-defective goods. We may do so at our discretion where the goods are unused, complete and in resaleable condition and you request it within 14 days of delivery. In that case:
- you arrange and pay for return shipping, and bear any customs or import charges on the return;
- you are responsible for the goods, and for their value, until we receive them;
- a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted to cover handling and re-testing.
4. Custom or configured products
Products built, configured or ordered specially to your requirements cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
5. Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the goods, any agreed refund is issued within 14 days to the original payment method.
6. International returns
For parcels returned from outside Norway, mark the parcel clearly as a “return of goods” and use the carrier and declaration we agree in advance. Charges arising from incorrectly declared or unauthorised returns may be deducted from any refund or passed on to you.
7. Consumers
If you buy as a private consumer and mandatory consumer-protection law applies to your purchase, that law takes precedence over this policy and your statutory rights are not affected.
